LEAST EXPENSIVE TICKET CALCULATOR

Disney currently offers dozens of different admission options to its theme parks. These options range from the basic "One Day, One Park" ticket, good for a single entry into any one of Disney's theme parks, to the top of the line Premium Annual Pass, good for 365 days of admission into every theme and water park Disney operates, plus DisneyQuest.

To simplify this as much as possible, the Unofficial Guide created this web page to help determine the least-expensive ticket options for your specific vacation plans. This web page is free and considers all of the generally-available ticket options currently in use, from Disney and major third-party ticket wholesalers.  All you have to do is answer a few simple questions relating to the theme parks you intend to visit, water parks, and your timeframe for purchase. The web page will then identify the four least-expensive ticket options for your vacation, and tell you which website (including Disney) has the lowest prices.

LEAST EXPENSIVE TICKET CALCULATOR

Number of Tickets Needed

How many adults (ages 10 and up) need to purchase tickets?

How many children (ages 3-9) need to purchase tickets?

Types of Tickets Needed

On how many days will you visit one of Disney's theme parks?

If visiting the theme parks, will you ever visit more than one theme park per day?

On how many days will you visit one of Disney's water parks?

On how many days will you visit DisneyQuest?

Frequent Visitors / No Expiration Options

Do you plan to visit Walt Disney World again within 12 months?

Do you want to purchase the "no expiration" option for your Disney tickets?

Answering yes means the unused portion of your tickets will never expire.  Answer no, and your tickets will expire 14 days after they are first used.  (The Unofficial Guide recommends answering no.  See Note 1 below for more information.)

Advance Purchase / Ticket Wholesaler Options

Will you purchase your tickets in advance (allowing up to two weeks for delivery) and have them mailed to you? (Answering yes will include standard shipping charges from each vendor. By including the shipping charges in the overall total, the calculator ensures you're getting the best deal. Answer no if you plan to pick up the tickets in person when you get to Orlando.)

Should the results include prices from third-party ticket wholesalers? (Wholesalers often have less expensive prices than Disney, especially for multi-day tickets.)

Results will be displayed here.

Note 1 Think carefully about paying extra for the "No Expiration" option. We've heard that less than 15% of admission tickets with unused days are ever re-used at a Disney theme park. The rest are misplaced, discarded, or forgotten. Unless you are absolutely certain you'll be returning to Walt Disney World within the next year, we don't think the additional cost is worth the risk.

The program will also make recommendations concerning considerations other than price. For example, annual passes, though they may cost more, may make sense in certain circumstances because Disney often offers substantial resort discounts and other discounts to annual passholders. The possibility of those resort discounts, especially during off-season times, can more than offset a small incremental charge for the annual pass.

Our goal is to make this program as comprehensive as possible. If there is a ticket option available to the general public that we do not have listed on the site, please let us know by sending email to Webmaster@TouringPlans.com.

Tips on Getting the Best Deal
Florida residents are frequently offered steep discounts for admission to most Disney theme parks. These are almost always the best options for Floridians.

Disney offers admission discounts to members of the U.S. armed forces. The rates are better than those available from ticket wholesalers, but not as good as those available to Florida residents.
